We drink this smoothie when we just want a nice fruity flavor with some added veggies sneaking in!
1-2 cups frozen berries/banana/mango (the more fruit, the thicker the smoothie)
1 tbsp nut or seed butter
1 serving protein powder/collagen (either unflavored or vanilla) of choice
1 cup canned coconut or almond milk
Optional: add 1/2 cup raw veggies if your gut can tolerate it! (zucchini/frozen riced cauliflower are two of our favorites)
Pour cup of milk into blender (Pro Tip: adding milk first helps blend easier)
Add frozen fruit while blender is running
Mix in protein powder and nut/seed butter
Add in optional raw veggies
We recommend almond butter or sunflower seed butter
Check the amount of sugar in your alternative milk, brands can be sneaky about how much added sugar they put in. Canned coconut milk is a great option.
