Cows have nothing on this Bison Burger

Bison is a great alternative (and leaner, if that matters to you) to beef, as Bison herds are usually raised on open, grassy land as opposed to industrial feed lots.



Ingredients

  • Bison

  • Sweet Potato Flatbread (Recipe in "Snacks")

  • Tomato

  • Lettuce

  • Condiment of choice

Directions

  1. Grab a package of raw bison and form into hamburger patties

  2. Cook on the stove in butter, ghee or avocado oil

  3. Once cooked to your desired heat, add to sweet potato flatbread and top with tomato, lettuce and condiment of choice (we like Dijon or Unsweetened Ketchup)
